Life changes. (yes – I hate changes-duh this is not new).
You keep looking at the same thing ~ trying to get clarity. You look at it from this way and that and it still doesn’t make any sense. It swirls and changes no matter which way you look at it.
So what is that grounds us?
Your perspective of life, your situation, experience, society, ethos, your experiences determine your sense of things. Your perspective determines your grounding. What is right – what is wrong . . . where you are. . . when you are . . . what happened. . . why it happened. . . Is it right??
Still the same world. Just your perspective.
Still??? What do you distill from all of that?
my opinion???? . . . right and wrong is what is left in that crucible. Period.
I don’t mean to be simplistic, but working with the Scouts, I keep coming back to the Scout Law. A “Scout is . . .
- and Reverent
These laws are clear. They fall in to cover most issues in every religion. They are “right and wrong”. Yes. Black and White. bit still . . .
Right and wrong is still the perspective. Maybe Not at he individual, but society, yes.
At the end of the day, there are still right and wrong. The Scout law is my law. I truly believe that is everyone’s crucible still falls in the same spot.
??? i don’t know. still asking. But the law? where does that fit in your PERSPECTIVE.
